How I came to know this marvellous breed

In the 60 His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama was on private visit in Vaduz (Liechtenstein). Invited by Prof. Max Brünning and other person's who had lived some years in Tibet. Thanks to the friends of my father Prof. Brünning and his wife, I had the immense honour of being presented to Its Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama. This encounter impact in that girl who was I, and since then all related to the Tibetan culture is fascinating me. Years later, when I was studying in Ursuline School, Westgate on Sea (England), and the family with which I lived took me to Dog Shows/Events. There I saw Tibetan Terriers for the first time. It was love at first sight; these "little dogs" captivated me. In 1973 I married and had two wonderful children. When my children began to be elder (beginnings of the 90) finally I could dedicate my time completely to this wonderful breed. In 1997 I got the FCI Kennel name " KHYI-LHA " and in 1998 the first Tibetan Terriers of "KHYI-LHA" were born.

From this page I want to thank all the breeders worldwide, who with their wisdom and good doing help and supports me that this wonderful breed begins to be known in Spain.
